This last week I took the time for some "me" time, taking one day off work and foregoing housework some days to take the time to craft. I used to craft a lot.....everyday really and I taught classes at home and at the community centre down the road from where I lived. But times change, lives change and now with working full time, owning a business and helping take care of my mom who is getting older, finding time to indulge in my hobby is a treat. So I made it a point to do just that -- find time to just create and craft!
One of the easiest and most fun thing I did was make little gift card/chocolate holders using the envelope punch board.
This awesome tool makes many different sized envelopes and can be used for many other projects. I used designer patterned paper to make envelope packets, just the right size to fit a little chocolate and a gift card. Perfect for gifts. Here are all the different ones I made.
As you can tell I really enjoyed making these envelopes because I made so many different ones with different patterned papers!
The envelope punch board is still available for purchase for $27 plus shipping and handling. If you would like one of your very own, drop me a note using the "email me" link on the right hand side of this blog, underneath the video tutorials.
