Last weekend was family day long weekend here in British Columbia. I spent the entire weekend in Bellingham! I haven't been able to do this in a long time, so this was a welcome change. We did some grocery shopping for the weekend/week ahead at Trader Joe's on Saturday. As you already know....cause I blog about it a lot -- I love this place. I'm so glad Bellingham has a Trader Joe's! They have awesome stuff!
Every kind of hummus you could ever imagine existed -- they have it. And look at that price. $1.99 -- a deal!
Pizzas and flatbreads that will have you question why you would ever need to cook from scratch again, or order in.
Unique side dishes and healthy options that taste so good, you'd never know it was out of a box.
A huge selection of salads, ready to go with all the fixin's and dressing, too. We usually add more spinach to any of these varieties, heat up some soup, add some freshly baked artisan bread and voila -- dinner in a snap.
Do you like all things coconut? If you do, you need to get yourself down to your nearest Trader Joes'. See above and below!
These roasted coconut chips are to die for. Can I eat a whole bag? Heck, yeah....probably even 2 bags.
And one other great thing about visiting Trader Joe's -- Trevor and I get to goof around at the front of the store, posing in their photo booth setup -- this changes on a regular basis, depending on what time of year it is.
Haha....we had fun shopping there! The parking lot is usually always a challenge, but lately with the Canadian $$ dropping and the exchange rate being not so great, less Canadians are crossing over so this time around parking was a breeze :)
This weekend is Valentine's and Trevor and I will be spending that day at Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine. We've never stayed there, so are looking forward to it. I will let you guys know how we liked it!
Happy Valentine's Day to you all! Here's hoping that you will be surrounded by people you love -- don't forget to tell that special someone how much they mean to you. Hug your kids. Call your mom/dad and tell them you love them. Smile at everyone you meet on the street. Be happy. Spread love.
Have a great weekend!
