Why? Simple. To earn stamping and scrapbooking supplies for free! It's easy and fun....you simply get together with friends to learn some new techniques, watch some demos and make a project. For example the stamp set below is called Simply Soft and is valued at $22.95 in cling mount, but if you host a workshop, it only costs $13 in hostess dollars. So if your workshop is a minimum of $200 in sales, you earn $35 in hostess dollars to spend anyway you want in the catalogue. Even after you purchase this set, you still have $22 to spend any way you want. And all you have to do is host a workshop in your home! All you need is 4 - 5 friends and you've got yourself a workshop!
Simply Soft, hostess set of 6 coordinating stamps. When used together, you create the most gorgeous, soft and romantic looking images.
To start, I stamped just the outline flower using Soft Suede classic ink. The bottom patterned paper is from the Patterned Designer Paper Series. It is Peach Parfait and comes in a 12x12 paper stack pack of 40 sheets (4 sheets each of 2 double sided designs in 5 colours). These paper stacks are a must!
Next I used the Solid flower image with Peach Parfait ink to fill in the outline flower I had just stamped. To finish it off, I coloured in some of the leaves underneath the flower using a Pear Pizzaz stampin' write marker. I love that all the colours of ink also come in paper and markers. There's no way you can make a mistake with matching colours!
And here is the finished card. I used the 1/2" stitched poly ribbon in pear pizzaz (even the ribbon comes to match!!) to hide the seam where the patterned paper ends and the white starts. I added 3 pearls underneath the design to balance out the overall look.
Of course the peach parfait card itself is embossed using the Framed Tulips embossing folder. This card is fast and easy to make. If you would like to learn how you can host a workshop and make this card as well as earn some free product, email me at inkfinity@gmail.com
Great stuff,I really want to have a personalize scrapbook to put all our bonding memories of my husband to treasure.
