I finally got to play with some of my new items from the holiday mini catalogue. Today I made a shaker card using Stampin' Up's handy shaker frames. Having this wonderful new item makes shaker cards super easy to make!
This shaker card will be one of the cards featured in my second all day Stamping event at the Holiday Inn on St. Edwards's in Richmond. The first event I had at this location in April was so much fun, that I decided to do it again! The info for this event is as follows:
Holiday Blitz Stamp Day at the Holiday Inn on St. Edwards in Richmond, B.C. This will be an all day event starting at 9 AM and ending at 4 PM. The date for this event is Saturday, September 24. There will be 3 classes as follows:
9 - 11 AM Holiday Layout $25
12 X 12 double page scrapbook page with 3D elements to enhance your finished page. Your project kits will include all the cardstock for your double page layout as well as the letters for your title and 3 full sticker sheets with borders, candy canes, mistletoe, snowflakes and assorted christmas tags. You will only use some of these items for your double page layout, so you will be left with lots to create other pages or christmas cards.
Important: Your title will include a year, so please specify what year you would like to scrapbook i.e. the sample shows 2010
11:30 - 1:30 Christmas Cards $25
Make 4 christmas cards using Stampin' Up stamp sets from the new Holiday mini catalogue. Featured in this class is the new stamp set stitched stockings which we will use with the new stocking punch to create the cutes christmas stockings ever!
2 - 4 PM Christmas Stocking Stuffers and Gifts $25
Make 4 one of a kind stocking stuffers and little christmas gifts. We will use the new set from the Holiday Mini called It's a Wrap to create little chocolate treats in their own little matchbox. We will also use other dies including the pillow box to make other unique gifts. Get started on your holiday gifts while you still have time!
You may choose to join 1, 2 or all 3 classes. If you join all 3 classes, you automatically receive $10 toward any future class taught by me.
You may bring your own lunch, or purchase lunch from the Fogg & Sudds which is in the hotel. They will bring in menus for you to choose your meal and will deliver the food right to our meeting room.
