It's Saturday and I don't have to work! I got up at 8 AM, watched some TV, played in my studio for a little bit, spent maybe half an hour cleaning up odds and ends around the house, then at noon went back to bed! It's now just past 1 PM and I'm so lazy still! I do have to take my daughter out tonight as she has a dinner with friends, so while she's there I'm going to the workout at the gym then pick her up a couple of hours later. Doug is away on business in Toronto till next weekend so I have a lot of classes scheduled this week while he's gone.
Mother's Day has come and gone. We had a lovely family Mother's Day brunch at the Holiday Inn here in Richmond - the same place where I teach my classes. Here are some pics.
Above is my a picture of myself with all my siblings and my Mom. Below are some other pics I took of the family and food.
Father's Day comes next and we are planning another lunch on that day, this time in my sister's condo which has a huge amenities room which we can use.
I spent most of yesterday creating some cards for future classes. Here is a simple one that I kind of love.
It uses the Always Elegant stamp set. I love the flourish image in this set. The images included in the set are below.
I also used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder which I embossed the cardstock with for the top of the card. The folder image is below.
