A Year of Cards:
I'm currently working on a class called A Year of Cards that features a set of cards (12 in total), thus the name. I've only got 4 of them done up so far, but the rest are in the works. Here are the 4 that are ready to go.
These cards are simple, yet elegant. They will be easy to make again and again so they can be your "go to" designs when you want to make a card super quick!
What's in a Name?
What's up with baby names nowadays. They are getting stranger and stranger. I know parents want to be unique and that's how these new names come about but here's a list of some of the new stranger than strange ones I've heard of lately:
Alicia Silverstone named her baby Bear Blu
Kevin James named his son Kannon (ok, this is not too bad)
Mariah Carey named her son Moroccan (after her fave room in their home....really? Good thing her fave room isnt the shed)
Jason Lee named his kid Pilot Inspektor (hope they have lots of money for this child's therapy later)
Bob Geldof named his daughter Fifi Trixibelle (isn't that a dog's name?)
Penn Jilette named his kid Moxie Crimefighter ( HUH?)
Rob Morrow named his kid Tu (.....get it? Tu Morrow?)
Jermaine Jackson named his kid Jermasty (I'm not surprised coming from that family...)
All of a sudden "Apple" doesnt' sound like that weird a name. Having said that, I am not endorsing fruit names, so I'm hoping no one goes naming their kids jackfruit, kiwi, mango or papaya anytime soon.
It's a holiday weekend here in British Columbia (Victoria Day), so I'm set to enjoy a long weekend! Have a good one everyone.
Delicious cards!!! I just love those all cards.. Those are looking beautiful and neat. I really appreciates you for this great post. Thanks for this..

Check out this little piece of advise I found on the internet.
When naming your baby Kiwi, it's important to consider the gender of the name itself. When people look at the name Kiwi, they might ask the question...
Really? The question they might ask is what gender? How about why did you name your child after a little hairy green fruit? Maybe that should be the question. hahaha
Seriously though - Kiwi is kind of a cute name!
