This is my next class called Blossom Full. We will make 4 cards using the Bold Blossom and the Build a Blossom stamp set and punch. I sent out an email with pics to everyone, and I have to say -- you guys like this class! There are still some spots left, but don't delay -- all classes are filling up fast!

This is such an elegant set -- perfect for timeless creations suitable for many occasions. Below is a card I made using an example I lifted right off the Stampin' Success magazine, which is a publication created for demonstrators only. Finally, here is a tutorial I did! It's been awhile in the making as I got bogged down with work and other obligations....then my husband (my director, cameraman, editor extraordinaire) had to fly out of town on business. Our schedules just never seemed to coincide to a suitable time when we could both set aside an hour to do this. Till now! The funny thing is we did this after I had been at work all day long and I really was quite tired but I thought, it's now or another week wasted .... so I decided to just do it. Just like the Nike Commercial. I fixed my hair, even added some swanky pink lipstick only to realize after the fact that no one was ever going to see my face anyway.....oh well, vanity always finds a way to enter the picture, don't ya' think? So here it is....first a pic of the finished card, then the video on how it was made. Enjoy!
Edited to add: So, I just watched this video and already I noticed one thing I said wrong. The little heart punch is not part of the Itty Bitty Punch set, it is actually the small heart punch # 117193, $8.50. The other items I used to make this card are the Create a Cupcake Stamp Set # 121915, wood mounted $27.95 or Create a Cupcake Stamp Set #121982, cling unmounted $19.95 and the Build a Cupcake Punch #121807 $23.95.
Purchasing these items brings you extremely close to the $60 you need to qualify for a free stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue. Hmmm.....2 of my fave things in the whole entire universe! Number 1: Cupcakes!
I will be doing a class featuring these lovely creations. There's nothing on this planet that quite sets me off the way cupcakes do....all I have to do is see an image of a cupcake, or a cupcake pan, or something that looks like icing, and I'm done. I immediately want a cupcake. Just yesterday I was out shopping with my friend, Cathy and we were in a paper store that had cupcake liners and that's all it took. I fantasized about eating a cupcake for the rest of the day.
Therefore, it's only natural that when Stampin' Up! came out with the Create a Cupcake set and the Build a Cupcake Punch, I had to have them both! Here are the images in the set:

Both the stamps and punch work great together, but they also do well on their own. They are must haves in my book! I will be using both these items in my next class. Fave thing# 2: Biscotti!
Recently Doug & I stumbled by a wonderful little coffee shop in South Surrey called "Notti Biscotti" -- we loved this little shop! The owner, Shelly was so nice and friendly and her muffins and wraps were to die for. We loved their little breakfast wrap -- see below....I love what they called it!

But not only did they have biscotti and wraps, they also had truffles!
Their biscotti selections is excellent! Not since Doug & I were in Italy have I seen quite the variety!
This little shop is just a minute away from our gym. I can see a little vicious cycle evolving here....GYM, then coffee and biscotti. GYM, then coffee and biscotti. Hmmmm.....working out is gonna be even more fun now!
Yesterday way Jordan's birthday. Amazing how time flies. One day they're in diapers and teething, look away and they're in preschool. Turn around and they're teenagers. Blink and they are borrowing your car to go see a movie with friends. And then they're adults and the teen years are history. I'm excited for him as he jumps ahead into what seems to be a bright future, but kinda sad for me. My son who always spent his birthday with me was actually out with a girl on his birthday. And that girls was not me!!!! My baby is no longer. But I am proud of what he has become.
We had a big family celebration for him this past weekend. Below is my mom, busy cooking a whole salmon for his birthday dinner.
And look what else we had for dinner that night. Lumpia. So delicious.

He asked for a Dairy Queen cake which we hadn't had in a long time. I forgot how good DQ tastes!
Jordan's birthday was the last of a whole slew of celebrations starting with Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas Day lunch and dinner followed of course by our big family New Year's. I'll share pics of those later.
