Can you believe that? October is next week. In 3 months, it will be the day after Christmas. Boxing day. Scary thought, huh? I have to get my act together and start my christmas to do list, make my usual handmade prezzies, etc. etc.
Speaking of Christmas, here are the close up sneak peeks of the christmas card class I will be teaching in my October 16th, Get Ready for Christmas Stamp Camp.
We will be using Stampin' Up's Candy Cane Designer Paper and the stamp set "Cute Christmas" to create the 4 cards in this class. The information for this event is as follows:
This event will be an all day event on Saturday, October 16th, 2010
There will be 2 classes as follows:
Cards & a Purse - $24 10 - 12 PM
Create a Brighton inspired handbag made entirely out of cardstock. We will add texture to the cardstock using the Lattice embossing folder to make it look like the real thing. So, so tres chic! Then we will make 4 fantabulous cards that can be given as gifts (who wouldn't want a handmade card!) or to keep! Perfect to give as a christmas gift, or to keep for yourself. You will love this class!
Christmas Card Class $20 1:30 - 3:30 PM
Create 4 wonderful cards and get a jump start on Christmas. We will use the new set from the Holiday Mini called
"A Cute Christmas" and add some accents with the Candy Cane Designer paper to create the cutest cards you ever did see!
If you register for both classes, you only pay $40 for both.

Hope to see you there!
While I'm quite busy getting ready for all my classes, I still enjoy going to the gym and do try to go at least 5 - 6 days out of the week. I find the exercise exhilirating. I always leave the gym on such a high and full of energy. People talk about "runner's high" ....you know that exhiliration you get when endorphins are released at a certain point in the workout. Exercise has always been proven to enhance mood, and I find the longer the workout and the more cardio is involved the better I feel when I am finished. Then I reward myself with a veggie pita from the Pita Pit which is right across from the gym I go to.
It's the best way to start my weekend. Doug & I always go on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Okay, enough blogging for today.....got lots of classes to prepare for! Enjoy the rest of the week everyone!
