....cause the days have become sunnier and everyday I got home they have the airconditioning on at full blast. I mean, it is COLD when I enter the house. It's not even really that hot outside....just hotter than it has been, yet they think that they need to crank up the AC when they got home from school. You could probably have built an igloo in here when I got home today and it wouldn't have melted. I had to let them know in no uncertain terms, that they are NOT to do that again....unless they want their own clothes budgets to suffer because if my power bill comes in at double what it is, I will know why! Geez....it's been an hour now since I turned the AC off and I'm still shivering....
Anyway, back to business. There are only 2 more days left before the Richmond Clipper Street store closes....Sunday is the last day. The store is looking mighty empty! Next week I start my new job at I'm Impressed, and I'm looking forward it - a fresh, new beginning. A couple of nights ago, I started designing my classes for the Stamp Out Breast Cancer event, where I will be participating as an instructor. Here is one of the cards that will be featured in my Copic Class.
I like the way the green and purple complement each other. This card is quite strking in real life, so hopefully some of you can come out and join me in this event, which is for a really good cause!
