Here is another card I made that will be published in the Jan/Feb 2009 issue of Papercrafts Magazine, on sale December 2.
I used a star punch for all my little stars and the little square behind them were each cut out using my Tonic 6.5" mini trimmers. I love these trimmers because they are portable, are self sharpening so there is no need to buy new blades and I specially love the 1/2" grids on its molded base which makes easy work of cutting little square like the ones in the card above. We have this cutter available for purchase at Clipper Street -- they are the best things since sliced bread ..... okay, next to chocolate, that is......which I haven't eaten for 2 months since I've been trying to be good.....but that will change on Xmas day when I will be a bad girl all day. (what the heck.....it's Xmas). I used this little cutter in my Halloween boo card tutorial and if you want to see how easy it is to cut little squares, clickhere to watch it.
Here is a close up.
Anway, if you have a look at the time of this post, you will see that I am awake in the middle of the night! I woke up thirsty, came downstairs to drink some water and here I am blogging! Bad, bad, bad! I am going back to bed now cause I am getting up early to go to the gym. I'll try not to fall asleep on the elliptical!
Congrats on yet another publication! :) This is a very cute card!

Hi Eleonor. This card is precious! I actually tore the page from the magazine and "lifted" it with butterflies and blooms instead of stars. When I posted it in my scrapbook.com gallery, I gave you credit and directed folks to the magazine. Today I found your blog and added that link...I hope you don't mind. I've added your blog to my list of blogs I'm following.
Thanks for the inspiration. Your work is amazing!
