Is that scary or what?? I am more or less (emphasis on the less....) ready. I've just got a whole load of wrapping to do. I hate wrapping with a passion. What is the point of wrapping something if we will just rip into the wrap anyway. I think we should all just close our eyes when being handed a present till the person giving it says, "Okay now open your eyes!" Now wouldn't that save a whole load of trees?? That is my contribution to saving the environemnt. Pass the idea around. Don't wrap presents. Just close your eyes. I think it's a great idea!
It snowed again today....and it's supposed to snow some more this weekend. I was fine driving cause I have good snow tires, but the one thing I don't like is not being able to go to the gym. After work, my priority is to get home in one piece, so the gym gets bypassed. I will try to go tomorrow, however. I can't go 2 days without going to the gym, and I didn't go today. It drives me insane...like I'm missing something important! Crazy. But it's a good thing to be addicted to.
Don't you just love this little cat? Love his santa hat!
This is a Stampendous stamp called "Kitty Claws". I love this stamp and use it every Christmas to make cards. The greeting is from Hero Arts. I love it because of the fancy font -- so elegant but not too flourishy.
Here's a close up look.
The patterned paper is from Basic Grey's Wassail Collection, called Laurel Leaves. All Basic Grey's Wassail collection is double sided so no need to think of coordinating papers -- just flip the sheet over! No brainer there. Love Basic Grey.
My allergic reaction is now almost all gone. Thank goodness! I couldn't stand feeling the urge to scratch my face all the time....not to mention I probably could scare small children the way I looked when my face swelled up last week. I did the scratch test at the allergist and they found that I was allergic to nothing!
They did the test on both arms -- one arm was for food allergies and the other arm was for environmental allergies (dust, mites, alder, etc....) Lookie here -- that's my arm. The blue dots mark the spot just beside it (you can see the small red marks).....those marks are where they scratched the skin to allow the liquid to enter just beneath the surface. Then they wait 10 minutes to see if there is a reaction. There was none. zero. nada. So we still don't know why my face got all red and itchy. I hate not knowing. I am hoping it doesn't happen again.
Anyway, to happier news. This weekend is our yearly family bus lights tour. We do this every year and I will post pics after the weekend. To read about last year's tour, click here.
I had an allergy test as well, but it was done on my back. Didn't even think to ask to have it on my arm, where it probably would have hurt less!

I have so enjoyed following your family's adventures for the last year or so..... I LOVED the video you did for Jordan; I hope you put that whole thing on disk for him to have in the future.... it is wonderful. I can so relate with my grandson who just turned 19 ... that's even hard for me to "write".
You did a wonderful job and I'm sure Jordan love it and feels the love!!!!
