Well, here goes. My friend and personal genie, Alison....(more about the genie part later)....told me about her blog and poof!!...(keeping with the genie theme here!), I decided to start my own. I've been reading other people's blogs for a while now, not really thinking that I would start my own -- mainly because I did not know when I would find the time to maintain it, or update it. But the need to stay current drove me to encourage my darling husband to help me set this up. Okay, that is a little white lie, because he did not help me set this up -- rather he did it all himself. All I'm doing is actually typing this entry. He set up the account, took the pics, added them and did all the work. In fact, he originally named the link to this blog "my husband did it.com" but that sounded rather naughty, so we changed it. I'll try to update this at least twice a week. Promise.
As mentioned above, my good friend Alison is my own personal genie. That is because when I don't know the answer to something and am too lazy to figure anything out, I just phone or email her and poof! ..... the answer I was seeking is delivered. It's really quite neat having my own personal genie. You guys should all try to find one of your own. It makes life so much easier!
As you can see, rubber stamping and scrapbooking is a passion of mine. I do it to relax and unwind. It's so much more fun than washing dishes and vacuuming. Having said that, before you come to my house, call first so I can do a quick cleanup. My genie, Alison answers all my difficult questions, but still won't clean my house. You can't have everything, I guess.
Anyway, blog buddies. This should be the first of many entries. Stay tuned and enjoy!
Eleonor,
Me again. Yes, having a personal genie is wonderful. I have one, too! Her name is Kim.
